May 3. Time Bandits (Directed by Terry Gilliam, 1980)

Fans of Monty Python will love Terry Gilliam's romp through time. Kevin, an unhappy young boy, finds himself on a wild set of adventures through the ages with a band of unlikely band of renegades. An all star cast of characters await them on their journey.

May 10 Somewhere In Time (Directed by Jeannot Szwarc, 1980)

Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour star as a pair of lovers separated by time in this lush romance. Filmed on location at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan, and featuring a splendid John Berry score, it is a favorite of many romantically inclined filmgoers.

May 24 Time After Time (Directed by Nicholas Meyer, 1979)

What if H.G. Wells did not invent a time machine in his fiction, but in reality? And what if one of history's greatest villains absconded in it, to pray upon an unsuspecting future? Malcolm McDowell, David Warner and Mary Steenburgen star in this suspenseful time tripping thriller.

May 31 Peggy Sue Got Married (Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, 1986

Most time travelers try to fix the whole world, but Peggy Sue, played by Kathleen Turner, just wants to save her marriage when she finds herself mysteriously transported back into her own past. Nicholas Cage hams it up as her future (and present?) husband in this romantic comedy
